So the budding phase is called budding cuz of the literal buds that form within the sections of your growing locs. Trying to avoid it by getting too often retwists tends to just make it worse as they look uneven when they develop so try to just leave it alone and let it just do its thing😂 The frizzy and puffy state just happens with the new growth during the budding phase so you can’t avoid it gangy. Just go with it🙏🏿❤️ It will soon be over and then the teen stage will come in sooner than you think, as long as you let each stage take its course!
